Scared by the prospect?

I was twittered earlier by a friend asking if all attendees need to deliver a session at Photocamp…

The simple answer is ‘no’ - there will be around 36 sessions during the day (more on this soon) so there is no easy way that everyone can actively run a session. That said - please be assured this isn’t going to be a dull, passive experience.

Many of the sessions will be interactive - hands on photoshop training, for example, others will de demonstrations and further more will be in discussion format. These will be done in small groups - with no requirement to contribute; I suspect you will simply find suitable points to give your opinion or share an experience you’ve had (as I did when I went to my first ‘unconference’ - at BarCamp Leeds). In addition to these there will most likely be a series of ’speed projects’ - where everyone can get involved, take shots and post them to the Internet - all in the space of one session!

Finally, everyone attending the event will also be asked to contribute to a photo project that will run during the day - hopefully with a chance to win a prize based on the results!

We’re anticipating a fun day - that everyone can get some fun and enlightenment from; and hopefully finish with a good ‘networking’ session - perhaps with a beer or 2!
