To anyone who swung by yesterday, was disappointed to see places were all taken and then double dismayed to not be able to register for standby tickets… I made a mistake with the web site address.

I’ve now corrected this; you can sign up to be a ’standby’ and to receive notifications of the other events on Photocamp Leeds {2008} weekend over here.

What IS this PhotoCamp thing?

PhotoCamp Leeds will be ~~the UK’s~~ Europe’s first ‘unconference‘ dedicated to photography and imagemaking. Based on the principles of BarCamp; an event where the people that attend create the programme of sessions themselves. These events are open, participatory, democratic, ‘workshop’ events; the organisers and sponsors simply provide a venue, facilities, beverages and food!
